About Us

Meet Lily!

I have been addicted to books for as long as I can remember. Even before I could read, my mother tells me I loved flipping through book pages.

Used to be a city girl, until hubby and I moved to Angus, Ontario. We love country living.  I am a new mom to two beautiful baby boys - Tyler, my angel in Heaven, and Grayson, our much anticipated rainbow baby born January 2017. Also have two rescue kitties, Sugar and Pepper, who we love to pieces. It's a busy house, but I always find time to read every day.  I love getting lost in a great book!

I am very open to all types of fictional genres with the exception of science fiction, and political thrillers. My preferred genres are Mystery, YA & NA, Dystopian/Post Apocalyptic, and anything ZOMBIES!!

Feel free to check out and browse my read shelf on Goodreads!

Meet Samantha!

My name is Samantha.  I am a single woman living in Toronto, Canada.

I am a very fast reader and can generally tear through a book in a single night.  My friends tend to make fun of me because my choice of books are almost always similar to a harlequin romance. Haha!

Besides reading I love to bake, spend time with my nephews and watch cheesy Netflix movies.

My favourite genres include romance, thrillers, contemporary fiction, and YA Fiction.  I tend to steer clear of historical fiction, sci-fi and fantasy.

Meet Erin, our Guest Blogger!

Hi Everyone!

I am Erin, a Mom to two young boys, business owner and book addict. Nothing makes my day more than cuddling up with a cup of coffee, a blanket and getting lost in a good book. I love to read to my boys and daycare kids.  I take pride in shaping young bookworms.

My favourite genres are Romance, Young Adult fiction, Thrillers, books with a lot of family dynamics, and books with a medical aspect to them, especially related to any disability.  Not interested in science fiction, shape shifters or political thrillers.

I am also looking for children's book authors who would like their book reviewed.   I am hosting a Kiddie Korner vlog biweekly on Bookluvrs Haven

    2. Yup, I saw that! It still freaks me out a bit seeing things like that. In a good way of course.

By the way I can't actually see the text in your reply unless I highlight it all - the text and the background are the same colour.

  2. Beautiful blog! I also find that anyone with a good sense of humor(which you both seem to have from reading your reviews) would be able to survive in a zombie infested world. At least I hope so lol
I loved Resident Evil but am deathly afraid of zombies too! :)

  6. Dear Erin and Lily,

Thank you for having me on your blog last month.

Please drop in this afternoon (Tues. Dec. 18th) to
the virtual release party for St. Nick's Favor, the sequel to Chasing
    the Trickster.

    http://www.facebook.com/StNicksFavor?ref=hl

The party will be held from 1-5 pm EST. There will be novel and
short story giveaways. Also holiday recipes and music (if I can
figure out how to do that with Facebook). And there
will be a book trailer for St. Nick's Favor as well.

Free copies will be available to reviewers.

    Blurb:
St. Nicholas asks Nina Weaver to be his emissary. Her mission is to
take a one-way trip five years into her past to save the lives of
thousands of children. Doing this will result in her losing the life
she has built in New York City, including her relationship with
Pascal Guzman. Nina faces down corporate greed, attempts on her life
and the terrors of the Trickster God to keep her promise.

Even if you can't attend the party, please drop by to "like" the page.

    Hope to see you there,

    April Grey
